Hi Guys, I live in North Florida and the last remnants of Hurricane Rita just passed us. We had a real gully washer of a rain yesterday morning. It was the first time I had to ride home from work in the rain on my new BR. I was very impressed with the sure-footedness of the BR. Some of the roads had 6 to 8 inches of water on them but I breezed right through with nary a miss. There were some places I had to go around because I was not sure how deep I could go with my bike, but all in all, I am much more confident riding it in the rain now. There were some cars stuck in intersections with the water over the hood, so I figured it would be best not to go there.

That would make you closest to Chanito! Who lives on the opposite side of Florid.
Yeah, whenever it would rain at my old apartment, the parking lot would flood (we'd call it the Bavarian River, 'cause the place was the Bavarian Village), I would put on a cowboy hat and a raincoat and go ridein' though that 3 or 4 inches of water... lots of fun there.
