The fantastic gas mileage, ease of finding parking spaces, threading through the toughest traffic, the neat comments, cheap insurance. The sheer fun of tooling around and having fun. These are the reasons that first come to mind. I don't know anything about importing a scooter into Ca. but there are new used (300 miles) for sale here for $4500 and less. I have seen new ones '05's advertized for less than $5000. Good luck ;D

Ride it in the snow. You live on the west side of Lake Ontario so I wouldn't think you would get the snow that Buffalo and everything NE of there gets. And DD ride all year on his little ruck someplace near TO.

Went and Got it - BR ;D
COOOOL. What a ride ! But I wonder about riding in the rain (or Snow) with the tires that come with these bikes. I would also wonder about the salt in winter time. I have just put 40 km on first ride thru Hamilton and got some very strange looks from people that (I think) thought that I should be riding on the sidewalk. This little sucker can really move along.
By the way: my neighbors got a real laugh at me as I pulled out of the driveway. Considering I used to ride a Goldwing !

Hey packrat....congrats...have lots of fun. I have been for over 7 months. And I know what you mean about the looks. I currently have my BR and a Full Dress Harley....I love both. But when some people realize that I am the same guy they saw on a Big Harley...and the the Ruckus...they have a very puzzled response and look on their face. It is priceless as the VISA commerical go....

A self concious person will think the smiling faces are laughing at them but in reality everyone is either thinking 'dang that's a cool/sweet/fun ride' or 'I want one'.

Hey Guys ... Don't feel bad about the Harley thing, my next door (Red-Neck) neighbor came out and took one look at the BR and called me a Sissy (I used to ride a 94 Goldwing). He was not impressed about the bike, and alot less about me now. So he will just have to get over it. I still love this little bullet. Now have 200 km on it and have been showing it around the Hamilton area (still with 1/2 tank of gas left). Yes in deed, I'm doing just fine thank you ! GOOD STUFF !!!!! P.S. ;D: You know, that it wasn't for this website, I may not have purchased one of this bikes - Thanks to All !!
