I just got my Big Ruckus a few days ago. Is anybody riding with the seat up? The reclining position just seems dangerous. Am I missing something? I'm enjoying my new toy a lot.

I've yet to ride with the seat down. Where would I put my travel bag?

Hello, new to the forums.
I ride with the seat down, makes it look more like a motorcycle, and less like an old fart grocery-getter. Don't get me wrong, the storage rules with it up ... but i have enough problems dealing with the laughs i get on this thing, And that's from friends on bikes!

I get the question, "What the hell is it"? all the time. I just tell them it's a two wheel lawnchair on steroids. Now if I can figure out where to mount the drink holder I've yet to ride with the seatback down.

hey--i've had my br for 330 miles now and have yet to put the back down. i don't plan to ride anyone and it gives support to my lower back. also at lights, i tend to lean back, take a look at the sky and thank my lucky stars that i have such a fun toy that i love. hey btw, scooter rage is this next weekend in San Francisco--i'm totally exicited!

Hello and welcome to all you noobies. I rode it once with the seat down and the next 550 fun miles have been with the seat up. I also have a little trunk I mounted that is a Walmart $10 cooler. Mounted with 2 bolts (replaced orig with longer) and HD 2" velcro. The bike keeps gaining acceleration as the motor breaks in. It is fun but I need a shield as we have too many BIG bugs here in farm Country (Doctavius is making me an exhaust heat shield of polished diamond plate, will post pix asap when installed)

Batgirl: I tried using bungee cords and they were scuffing the nice yellow paint so that was no good and therefore the carrier: it has worked superbly and am looking for a bigger one. It takes about a minute to remove it if I need to

yeah, i got 1 scuff mark and promptly broke out the touch up paint! i tend to use those handy little notches to secure the net rather than the hooks. the sun is peeking out and i'm going out to shine up my girl then off to meet smacky, spoon and the guys at rage!
