If you have nothing better to do read the terms of no return on this Chinese Junque. The warranty is parts only, they seem to avoiid that most scooter shops have labor rates of $60+ per hour and no experience on these scooters. A friend bought 2 small 80cc dirt birks for her grandkids from Shucks Auto. The seriously fell apart in a few days. The guarantee was money back in 30 days, they refused to do anything. This is a very clear warning, Stay away from Chinese scooters or you will regret it. www.championscooters.com/

Chanito, I'm sure you could take that thing apart and put some good peices in that would hold it together and actually run.

Back on topic.....the Chinese scooters here for the most part, have hurt people's opinion of scooters. Thought they were buying cheap fun, but ended up with no dealer service, etc....I try to steer them to a Ruckus whenever possible............... ;D

Yeah, I tell people the honda or yamaha or such costs a little more, but you can always find a place to get spare parts and service if you need it.

I agree, a bunch of people bought chinese scooters by the container and sold them cheap, but left a lot of people with a useless scooter and a very bad opinion of these litle people movers At work a couple of people got cheap sccoters and they do not work anymore, but Katrina is still rolling

I ordered one of those 250cc Choppers. Sold the Ruck, bought some #@$-less chaps, and I'm joining a group called Hell's Kittens, they seem like ok guys. So I'll be leaving now, we have a meeting at Chuckie Cheeze tonight KP

I emailed Champion Scooters (URL) in my original post in this thread. Their reasoning is "I must be a fool as there is a $200 billion trade deficit to China, and soon they will own the world." If our ball-less govt doesn't force (LOL) them to buy American goods the deficit will widen and we will be in deeper yogurt. I asked them why they had no dealers or paid for no labor under warranty and it elicited the above answer.

What does the trade deficit have to do with their crappy scooters? Yeah we buy more stuff from them than they do from us cuz they can't afford our stuff but how does that have anything to do with scoots?

Champion scooters says they (Chinese)are much smarter than we are as they hold all the cards in cheap junk manufacturing, but given time and a cage full of Monkeys, you know the rest. At one time S Korea made lousy cars.

I agree with Teds, they might make junk now, but with more time, they will become makers of decent products with very cheap manufacturing cost, and that is something to be scare of There is a bunch of stuff we have to do to get rid of the trade deficit, one of them is to get on with the metric system, is funny one of the master minds of the metric system was a guy here in the USA by the name of Ben Franklyn, but the powers in the industry decided that changing to the metric system was too expensive and not worth it, now we are the only ones in this shrinking world not to use it, also the diference in pay between the labor and the CEO is way bigger than in any industrialized country, and that is way wrong
