Saw a hand full of these @ Chicago Cycle. After some surfing They're lookin pretty interesting. Weighs about the same as a Ruck but has a 152cc motor. A cloned honda watercooled 4 stroke w/ 17" wheels and dics front and rear. One owner has modded his up to 70mph and reports from europe claim 100mph. Need to see hold they hold up, but lookin like a more road worthy machine than our Ruck's for a little over $3K

I don't like it coz its such a wannabe crotch rocket. Its not as good looking at crotch rockets yet not as lovable as a scooter

I agree...I'd rather have a Honda CBR 125 (100mph!) or a YSR80.

"Where can i buy one!!!! " All over the internet. Google CPI (company) GTR (model) Only thing scoot like is the CVT trans. More like a small crotch scooter, no rocketing but 55mph is faster than any Ruck .

Timber....with the big bore piston your Ruckus should be an easy 50mph bike so if you're gonna get another toy I'd get something that is more different...ie. goes 70mph so you could actually cruise highways with it. I'd suggest a CBR 125....it looks just like a CBR600 but it's smaller and still goes 100mph OR you could get a NSR. They were made in 50cc, 125cc, 250cc and I think maybe 80cc sizing too and they look amazing (black bike below = NSR125) Aprilia also makes some amazing 125cc bikes. It's hard to judge from the above pics because there's nothing to help the viewer grasp the scale but the NSR125 is way smaller than any sport bike you're gonna see on the road. It's just a bit bigger than the Ruckus.

As much as I rag on 2-strokes, I am willing to forgive quite a few sins (noisy, smelly, poor milage, unreliable) if they get me going 100mph.

Yeah... I mean, I guess I could try to fit the 250R engine on my Ruckus... I'm sure that would get her goin' 100mph, and I guess that'd be a worthwhile 2-stroke... ;D

I've sat on one of those. If you are 5'4" like me you'd have to stand on your tiptoes at stoplights. It's also way too unwieldy IMHO.

There's a review of this thing in the new issue of Scoot! magazine. And the cover story is a review of the Big Ruckus...
I'll try to hook my scanner back up and scan a few select pages of Ruckus related things (and myabe this thing's review if anyone wants)
