ikers thats fast, i wonder how they got the stock 4 stroke going faster than the derestricted 2 stroke I read a few threads on provo, and most ppl seem to claim that a derestricted '05 should be doing 40-45 MPH, i know this is complete BS because mine is completely unrestricted and and go about 60-65 km/h top speed(37- 40MPH) The 40 is downhill with a tailwind. Others claim higher top speed for the Zuma, again totally stock it maxes at about 63km/h(39.5 MPH). I seriously wonder about the performance that others are getting, because i have yet to see similar results for brand new bikes

DD, im sure yours and my bike can take the new vino's. Seeing as i can take the old 2 strokes, and they cruise at about 63 km/h, compared to the new ones at about 58-59km/h. RUCK3Y RULES ALL!!!!

I used to be able to take them....I've only ever seen 1 on the road but I was following him and realing him in hard at about 75km/hr but then he turned into a driveway.
Right now my Ruckus is totally stock except for the CDI, Kitaco variator and 80 jet (because it's winter). My new crankshaft blows so I don't take it above 53km/hr but it tops out around 58-59km/hr right. The worst thing about it right now (other than the crankshaft) is that my rear clutch is sticky cuz it's old and cold it doesn't gradually downshift. Up hills my revs just drop off and I keep going slower and slower because it's still sitting in the equivilent of 5th gear. Finally at about 5 or 10km/hr it'll downshift all of sudden and then I'll zip up the rest of the hill. This only happens up huge hills and when I'm into a brisk wind.

I looked at a Vino the other day. They are liquid cooled with fan assist.....
Too pretty though....I like the ruckus better

They're pretty much identical to the Metro/Jazz unless you're looking at the 125cc Vino which is a pretty nice call. Personally, I'd go for the Vespa LX50 if I was going for that styling and a 50cc. I might actually get my fiance one someday.

Just bought a 2006 Vino 125 for my wife. The Alabama dealership I bought it from charged $2668 out the door. Our local Florida dealer priced it at $2999 on the floor before prep, delivery, etc. Guess who got my business! Her brother is going to drive her to the Alabama dealership early Saturday morning to pick it up. I'm riding the Ruckus over and we'll ride back together. Should end up being about 150 miles for the Ruckus. Maybe I'll be able to take some on the "tour" back home. Wonderdog

soundz like you got a good deal by shopping it. I saved almost a grand on my big ruck by not caving to my local stealer. I just did it again with my new Silverwing, saved $300 by driving 220 miles to Seattle. Good luck with the new scoot and definitely we need to see
