Needs 2 wheel drive like the old Rokon scooter. It was really neet. They had 3 wheelers, sidecars etc. Now here's a bike that could go OFF road, it was automatic also.

Hope them Rokon tires are soft. Looks solid from the axles up. It's a tractorcycle

I checked out their website and ordered a brochure. Cant wait to check it out. They'll ship one right to your door!
And I thought the Ruckus was a rare sight. I'll just show up at the next 4 wheeler thing with this thing and the chicks will be jumpin on! Or out of the way. Chuck

The fording method, upright or on its side was up to you. The motor was a converted Chrysler outboard (didn't know they ever made such a thing, didya) I believe.

I read all their info and links on their site. They USED to be a chrysler engine...now a Kohler 6.5 hp or a HONDA in one model. Yes, they do float with the optional hollow alum wheels that can also be used to transpot gas or WaterOf course, if they are full of liquid, then the floating idea is .....sunk. BTW, who would drink water after its been rolling around inside a raw aluminum wheel? Cool idea though Chuck

Chuck: You blew me away. I was totally unaware these little gremllins were still being produced. It's a good thing they are not street legal or I would probably have to have one. The little Ruck handles all the terrain we have here in farm country NW. Looking at them takes me back 40 yrs

I browsed their site and ordered a brocheure and found some pricing info. A new one is about 5g which seems quite reasonable.

Yeah, I looked up Rokon after seeing an ad for one about a year ago in the back of a hunting magazine in a doctor's waiting room. Nifty looking things. Dick's Sporting Goods had something like that, a while back...
I like a Yamaha TW200. Not exactly the same thing, but still a nifty little machine, I think.
