I only found this site today, lots of positive vibes, great site. The members list says the name: now where are we all. I am in Lynden Washington, a mile south of the Canadian Border, I have a Red '03 and I love it. Tedsmini

Enumclaw - half way between Seattle and Mt. Rainier. Like your town, surrounded by farmland. My wife and I have stayed at that Bed and Breakfast at the west-end of your downtown; just a few hundred yards north of the river. We always dine at the restuarant that is named something after 'moms', sisters, or something. Great food and especially the pastries - got the name of the restuarant??

You got it, Dutch Mother's Restaurant and Bakery. The whole area is predominantly dutch. A shirt I saw at a tractor pull, "You can always tell a Dutchman but you can't tell a Dutchman much." Ride often and safe

I live in Boone, NC... about a mile and a half from Appalachian State's campus... which is where my Ruckus gets the most of it's ridin' done.

I am currently ... temporarily ... not for long in SE Texas. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, but I want to go back to the NW. I even miss the rain. Only 2 more years of school. ;D

I can sure understand the temporary. I'm 6 miles NW of Waco, Tx. I moved into this house temporarily in May 1983 & I'm still here temporarily. Just kinda hard to make a permanent commitment.

No...don't tell me that! I'm good at moving, so I don't think I'll be stuck. I just moved from that area (just outside Corsicana). Where do you ride there? You must not ride with traffic. Texans will kill ya.

Not a big fan of moving. This place is the 19th place that I've lived in my life. Drove an 18 wheeler moving van over the road back in 70 & 71, so I know how to do it. Ride my Ruckus right down through the middle of Waco 18 & a half miles to work. Most of the way is 50-65 mph roads with some big truck traffic. Except for a 4 block short- cut on city streets, I got big wide shoulders to ride on, or some 4 lane down along the Brazos River downtown where I claim the right lane where it is posted 40 mph. Nobody has had enough nerve to hit me, because if they do, THEY will make my daughter rich.

I can relate Duster, Lolakey. I arrived in TX expecting a 4 year stay then off to another location, but it's been nearly six years now. I keep telling myself that I'll leave someday, too hot and crazy drivers. Maybe I will...until then I ride my Ruckus and watch the suburbs creep into the quiet little town where I live. Ride safe.

db50, the name of your town in Texas could lead to all kinds of wild speculation. The Pacific NW is nice, yes it rains, but not all the time and it never stays too hot for too long. No state income tax and housing/cost of living is really moderate. My monthly elec bill is $33.

Hey tedsmini. I've been to Seattle a couple of times but not long enough to really look around. I did enjoy all the trees and hills and coffee. True to form it rained. I'd consider that part of the country if I could see more. I'm sure I could work there, I'm in aviation. Oh, the name of my town, Fate, is odd. "A tyrant's authority for crime and a fool's excuse for failure."-Bierce. Not the town's motto by any means, just an interesting quote about fate.

Hey DB, we are 2 hours above Seattle on the Canadian Border. It doesn't rain here as much as in Seattle. We hardly had any rain this entire summer. I have lived in NY, VA, CA. and now Washington. Here is where they can plant me, I ain't moving anymore. Dun Roamin..
