Hey everyone,
Great to see a site dedicated to these cool little scoots!
I just bought my Ruckus last week, a red 2003. I rode one a month ago at a racetrack (in the pits!!!) and my two kids fell in love with it. Last Monday I was out at lunch and had 20 minutes to kill and found myself in front of the Honda dealer. In I went and 15 minutes later walked out with the Red Ruckus! Bought it used (403 miles). An "older" (lol I resemble that statement!)guy bought it a year ago and just got tired of it after not riding it much. (Can't imagine that!) It is in absolutely perfect shape, not a scratch on it.
I've been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and have been road racing for the last 20. I like smaller displacement bikes and after I rode the Ruckus I knew I had to have one.
I'm hoping to leave it as stock as possible, yeah, right...after reading some of the easy performance gains to be had I think I'll start with jetting and a new filter. Maybe an exhaust later.
Anyway, I'll keep this short;) Glad I found all of you and I look forward to a lot of scootering!
Doug

Heck, I should've put my first post here. I bought my Ruck two weeks ago, 2nd hand as well, with just 41 miles on her. It's an '03, red, and I'm so geeked up about this little machine my other bikes and scoots are complaining. >:(It's great to have a website to share info with fellow Rucksters. Thanks ;D...db50.
