Just wondering what the intended use was for. I know for scooting but was it better at other tasks vs other scooters? How is it on fire roads for out camping? The tires look a bit beefier than other scooters any meaning? Do they stand up to bigger guys?
Just wanting some insite on the little ruck. Soon may purchase a couple. Thanks.

lol, speed wise it stands up to all other 4-stroke 50cc scooters umm, it kills other scooters in the woods.

I heard the Yamaha Zuma is the same price, a bit faster, better gauges, and can be pumped up with goodies to make it even better (bigger tires and speed mods). The dam rival. I also seen some scoots that resemble a croch rocket from some derbi or something and italian all looked promising. But I realy like doing my home work on something before I make my purchase. They need a scooter store for all the compairsons out there. My main reason for this little ruck is city to work, up fire roads camping, and no bike licence. I weigh in at 220lbs so strong too. As for the breast exam, what you don't see is they are actually my hands (I know a little girly but hey whos complaining). The pic cuts the elbows off. He he. Check em if they let ya.

I was wondering about the power issues with the Ruckus I hear about from different people on different sites. I am a big guy too. My friend had a Zuma scooter and I was surprised by the pick up that it has. I have to buy a scooter with 50cc's or less to drive it legally, (I lost my license drinking and driving.) So I'm looking to buy the one with most initial power. I love the look of the Ruckus, and so far I have found a lot of aftermarket parts for it which is amazing! I love the yoshi pipes for it! I would like to learn more about the speed variator and rollers. Is this a substantial power increase mod? So far I haven't seen a lot of aftermarket for the zuma but will continue to look.

I have bought and sold many scooters. I have owned 4 yamaha zumas and they have a very uncomfortable seating position. Its comparable to siting in the back seat of a small car with no legroom. Out of all of the different scooters I have owned the ruckus is my favorite. I have owned about 25 scooters. ;D

I don't want to sound bias but the Zuma is weird to ride. I like scooters but the Ruckus I like best. All the other scoots have a tall riding position and I feel like I'm riding a fake motorcycle. I've ridden all types too and I just like the Ruckus, that's why I went so nutty for it. I let everyone ride mine and they become converts.
Anyway, a 2 stroke may do 65 pretty easy but it won't last long at that speed, ask anyone ;D

I'm 6' 240 and it pulls me up to 38MPH so far (not uphill) I feel the seat is too hard and I need to fabricate footpegs as I need to stretch my legs a little more than the floorboards allow. I will probably change the rear shock, but I only bottomed a few times. When I make a way to enclose the cargo area I will be set, oh yeah, I'm also considering a side stand. You'll love it.
