80km/h would be a pretty challenging speed to reach with the current engine no matter how many mod's you make to it. my ruckus cruises pretty comfortable at 55km/h (60 in a tuck (not that comfortable), maybe almost 65 down hill). my other ride is a street plated pretty stock ttr125le mini-motard (lights, signals, 17" wheels front and back, stepped the gearing up some) and it will cruise at about 85-90 km/hour (redline in fifth (i use a gps for a speedo)). i dyno'd it a few weeks back at it is pushing 8.5 rear wheel hp. just by what i've read and by the seat of the pants feel, i figure i'm pushing about twice as much power as my ruckus. to hit 80+ and cruise comfortable on the ruckus, you'd need to almost double the power. can't think of any known simple cheap mod's other than replacing the engine with a bigger one that would achieve that goal. and trust me, it's never enough power or fast enough. i want my ruckus to ride at 80 too. my ttr125 cruises at 80 and i want it to ride at 110. my nx250 cruises at 125 and i want it to hit 140. my cb400f will do 160, and i just want it to run reliably.

well, to start off you'll want to add a CDI and get your cam grinded, then you'll need a new intake and perhaps port it as well. An exhaust will help a smidge and make sure you fiddle with the jetting once you've made some mods. Also be sure to adjust the length of the spacer once you have a bit more power. All this may get you to 70 (total guess). I'm sure someone who knows a bit more could suggest the order you'd want to do this and perhaps some additional mods.

How much do you want to spend I'm going to start building engines. It always cost more to make an engine faster than getting a faster one to start with. I will use your core and trick it out to the max.

I'm still working on it. I could have something by next month depends how the store goes. I have my money and time tied up. If the store goes OK and gets some of my money back I can go for it ASAP

Off the top of my head. Just the "top secret head" installed on motor would be like $300. The bottom end would be more. the "top secret head" is your motor shipped to me -I do top secret things to it and reinstall it. -I ship your motor back and you install it. -you ride it and go WOW

What Can I buy for my ruckus to make it go 80 kph I really need to go on the highway. Buy a motorcycle. I believe Honda designs the bike/scooter has a whole. Meaning the suspension, tires, brakes, etc are mated with the horsepwr or speed of the vehicle. Unless you're modifying the supsension and brakes your're asking for trouble. Just go out and buy cheap motorcycle.

If you make it go 60mph plus like mine stopping will become a major issue The front brakes must be disc
