::)I'm the new kid on the block...both to scooters and to the Ruckus...I purchased a Honda Silverwing about two weeks ago, that I'm having a great deal of trouble learning to ride- but due to that purchase, I WON a Ruckus!
I've got 75 miles on the Ruckus and not near enough time- I have to fight my daugher for it- and our only complaint is it's not quick enough in traffic.
I read in one of these posts that a Ruckus likes trails, etc? We were going to trade it in on a somewhat larger scooter for the street- but I didn't realize it would run trails? Can anyone enlighten me here?
BTW- the Ruckus is the most flat fun I've had in a long, long time!!!

YES! I consider it as good on trails as on the road. I used to ride with my friend who has a honda rincon 650 4-wheeler on rugged north Georgia trails and it kept up very well! Now that I live in Kansas I have been riding on the dirt roads here (pretty much all there is here where I am) and I keep up with several people I know on 3-wheelers. Its an absolutely wonderful trail bike. Frosty here, I think that's pretty much what he uses it for. You can find his pic at the bottom of the pic page on battlescooter.com

This is how the S'wing makes me feel at times. When I do get something right on it, it's a big ;D! :-/I admit to being impatient- I want to ride it like a pro right now! The Ruckus on the other hand-- It's just great FUN!!! Thanks for the encouragement!

I know we are way off topic now but.. The newer Wings come with a better tire design than the older models. They may have used the two types for all years but the new gen hoops are the best of the two. The tires mine came with were junk. The thing had a real uneasy feel at 40 and over. I replaced the new tires with the new design and it was much better. sorry for the jag

And to continue off topic!! Mine's a 03 and it's steady over 40- in fact, it seems to like faster much better than slower... I really thing my problem with the S'wing is the size/weight intimidates me--On the Ruckus, it's probably just a good thing it can't go any faster...

to continue to continue off topic.
I'm mainly talking about how the Wing likes the rain grooves and stuff, specially around corners.
OK no more Wing talk. I don't have one anymore.
The only scoot I ride is a Ruckus ;D
