59 here, and would rather be in my second childhood, than stuck in my first! ;D I use mine for buzzing around my neighborhood, and with the RV as someone mentioned above! Love the 90-95mpg. I ride a Silverwing too, set up for touring for longer trips.

I'm almost 56. Just got a new Ruckus today, and got 34 breakin miles. I'm a bit dissapointed. The same hill I can pull on my wife's Metro at 25 has the Ruckus down to 8-10 mph. LOL Sumthin aint right my 30 year old Chappy can chew my new Ruckus up and spit it out. I hate to haul the sucker 130 miles back to the dealer I got it from. Rocky

I am 48, my wife 46, my daughter 25, and son 26. We love our scooters!
Age is of the mind.
I had a big cruiser - and that was fun for a while - but too much attitude and money just spoiled that scene for the regular folks - too many posers and office workers acting like they are bikers. I wanted to spend more time, and have fun with the wife riding her own, so we bought two Rukckus' and are just having a ball. Sold the cruiser. Scooter people are just more fun - more real - and leave their Macho BS at home.

I love your post peshkabz! That is so cool and you two certainly sound like you are having a blast.
What part of the country and what sort of roads are you guys on?

Hi there! Enumclaw in half-way between Seattle and Mt. Rainier. We are a small farm town (becoming a commuter town) that is surrounded by lovely dairy farms and corn fields. We have INCREDIBLE views of the Cascade Mountains, with Mt. Rainier close, and the beautiful Olympic mountains far off to the west; in all of their glory. We have probably the largest collection of quiet country roads - with views - than anywhere in the Puget Sound area.
The only flaw in the lack of city and saltwater riding; I would love to ride around West Seattle and Kirkland - they have such wonderful waterfronts, coffee shops and restuarants. Although we do have nice coffee shops in Enumclaw...
I would like to see a scooter club in the Seattle area that specializes in 49-50 cc.

Hi, I'm one of the Youngsters... at 24 This is my first ride (car or bike). It don't cost much to buy, it saves a lot on gas and insurance is dirt cheap. In the city, I don't know why there aren't more scooters Where are you gonna park that big H2 !!! In crowded streets, I zig-zag thru it all!
