Hi,
Can someone tell me how fast the Ruckus accelerates from 0-top speed? I'm just trying to see if it'll be safe to drive on the 40mph streets that I take to work, before I make the purchase.
Thanks

mine takes 2 little Wellington, Kansas blocks sooo that's about a football field length to get to 38mph.
I drive mine on 45-50mph streets all the time, you will have no problem. I can be a little stressful at first (as with any scooter) but its great.
Get it!

get it and if you find that you want it to go a bit faster than purchase yourself some of the fine merch soon to be available at the battlescooter store. I commute 20miles each way everyday on mine on 50mph roads. I just take the backroads and if someone is behind me and conditions aren't good for a pass i pull onto the shoulder and let em by.

I drive mine on 40-45MPH roads frequently. Fortunately-most of the roads have wide bicycle lanes, and I just pull into the bicycle lane to let a car pass if they want to. I have only had to do that a few times. It really hasn't been a problem.

It's not too big of a problem. Changing the roller weight is the cure. The drive mods don't really increase top speed but take off. The Ruckus was made safe enough for old ladies and 5 year old kids but that is easily changed ;D
