OK, I've got 40 km on my new Ruckus and so far, I LOVE it.;D But I wonder what you guys are coming up with for carrying stuff. The under-seat area is nice and big, but the lack of sides is a bit troublesome. I've tried a couple of bungee nets stretched around the seat area, but they won't contain small stuff. I'm thinking books and magazines, a three-liter milk container, a camera, rain gear, a jacket, a ball cap... stuff like that. Not all at once, mind you, but that kind of variety. Honda hasn't made it very easy to add a rear box, something I consider essential. Any creative ideas out there? Peter

This is what you do.
You go to wal-mart
get a backpack that matches the color of your ruckus,
it will fit PERFECTLY under the seat put it in with the part that touches your back facing the bottom of the play-pocket.
then tie the straps for adjusting the shoulder straps around the bars that hold up the seat.
voula! Open the seat and unzip the backpack, slide whatever your taking in, zip it back up, close the seat and off you go!

I cut down a five gallon square bucket that originally held laundry detergent(fits the front of the playpocket perfectly) so it was even with the top of the frame and the seat would close. Drilled two holes to secure it to the frame with turkey ties and painted it with black plastic paint. That holds small loose items. Bigger stuff goes in a day pack that I can either wear or bungi on behind the bucket. Cost next to nothing. Thinking of mounting two side by side M-16 ammo pouches on the little front rack over the headlights. frosty
