How often does everyone who has an aftermarket filter clean it. Ever since i removed the box, Its black along the top edges within 150-200 km, and i have to clean it.
I think its all the dust from the wheel collecting by the airfilter

I got mine about a month ago and so far I haven't even noticed a spec of dirt on it. At this rate I think I'll have to clean it every 10-20 years. Then again, the dirt might pile up faster once I get it installed  |

Depends on what kind of filter you have, but if you see it dirty is a good sign it needs cleaning, i clean mine at the same time i change my oil (every 600 miles), but it still looks clean  |
