yes, allow sufficient drain time for the oil, b/c it is such high viscocity, may take a very long time, anyways, if you filled it too full, tell tale sign is not being able to crack 32Km/h with WOT , i feel so silly, thought b/c it was so cold here that maybe my engine was just horribly cold and wasnt running well , proves again my hindsight, no damage to anything though, just learn from others and generally my mistakes. To help it drain quicker just give a good 20 min ride around, flows right out , hopefully helps all of you when you go to change it

just slightly below the drain bolt level is perfect, maybe a 12 degree tilt or so of the bike

oh cool, was the oil from the oem in good condition after the miles on your ruckus? and how do you tilt it with support while draining, like i thought there was a tilt sensor or something on the ruckus...? and how do you know how much exactly to put it?

i changed it after 1200 km's, noticeable change, tilt it by taking it off the stand and tipping it over, unless yer too weak , jus messing, and fill it up to the drain bolt first, let it drain for a while, and then just tip it over just a little bit to get that last about 20 ml out.

Going for a ride first is a great tip to help drain the oil. When I fill it up the manual says to make it level to the bottom of the hole so I just overfill it a bit and then let it sit there and slowly drip out the hole. Once it stops dripping (5-10min) you should be right on. It helps if the new oil is warm too, try keeping it in the house.
