 No, do not get it, the ruckus is the NPS50 and that is the one you need, ;D it is a great idea to get the manual

I bought the 2003 to 2006 repair manual . The manual refers to 2006's as the "after 2005 model" .I don't know why .

Now that the manual has changed you can pick up some 03-05 ones for cheaper on ebay as some dealers are clearing their stock out. I've seen quite a few on there lately.

Yes better to Ebay the manual! I just got mine from Helm, and it's cool and all, but the bastiches sent it UPS. Surprise, it took over four days from when it arrived in the city for me to be able to even pick it up at the UPS office. U Pick up yer own "edit profanity". BTW DD I got that parts manual, and yeah, not a lot of info in that puppy. It does have some gasket, washer and bearing dimensions, and the thread sizes for the bolts, so meh

Hey just so you guys know. When you buy any Honda bike/scooter/atv etc then you get a free 1 year membership with the HRCA (Honda Riders Club of America). You can check out the website and the perks of the club at hrca.honda.com.
The reason I posted this is because one of the perks is viewing the service manuals online. You can only pick one model to view for the year but that might be a nice choice if you guys want to check out the manual or if you just want to verify some info or check a torque spec etc.

I just received my NPS50 Ruckus service manual. Along with the 2003 Manual, came stickers to replace the "2003" to "2003-2005". Also the ser# sticker needed changing to 61GEZ02.
I hope it's still good for me. I got it from repairmanual.com

The closest thing I got to the HRCA when I bought my Ruckus earlier this week was my Honda Owner's ID Card. Should I just wait and see if the HRCA kicks in - maybe they send something in the mail - or should I go talk to the dealer? Thanks for the great bit of info. I'm looking forward to being able to view the service manual. |

My HRCA package arrived today. Went to the website, set up my account, plugged in the VIN etc. Clicked the link "CLICK HERE TO GET YOUR SHOP MANUAL"  and all I get is "Common Service Manual - A complimentary service manual that is common to all Honda Motorcycle/ATV/Scooter products is now available."  So much for that "edit profanity". |
