Unfortunately, its getting near that time - Winter. While I intend to ride as long as possible, but up here in New England I'm going to have to put it in the garage for a few of months.
What is everyone procedure for Winter storage?

fill up the gas tank, run the engine but do not let it idle, the turn off the engine, this will prevent condensation, and allow oil to coat any moving part, then put the ruckus on a milk crate so the tires will not rest on the ground and develop a flat spot, for peace of mind you can put some gas conditioner before running the engine, and change the oil on the spring ;D

Only if you want to make sure the batt is fully charge, or just wait untill the end and charge it before riding her

no no no, don't lay it up - keep riding this winter! suck it up and buy some gear from newenough.com and be the envy of every cager.
