I have a 2015 Honda Ruckus with 200 miles on it. Scooter starts and idles just fine, everytime. Upon giving throttle it will hesitate/sputter/jerk/bog down in and out until it reaches about 15 miles an hour and then rides perfectly fine all the way to max speed.
Things I have installed:
New battery, new spark plug, new fuel filter, new fuel pump, new air filter, new jets - - - ALL items are OEM
Things I have done:
Drained fuel tank three times (each time adding SeaFoam)
Cleaned carburetor twice now (clean enough to eat off)
Reset ECU a few times (anytime I unplugged the throttle position sensor), sometimes this seems to make it better or worse but not fixed.
Checked that air filter is seated well inside the compartment and that the housing is not bent
Checked for leaks by spraying propane and starter fluid over hoses while engine idling (no shift in response)
Adjusted Idle control screw (did not think this was the problem, it idles perfect)
I am at a complete loss as to what is causing this problem. What would you suggest I attempt next?
This scooter is practically new...did something come from the manufacturer out of spec? Is there an equivalent MAF sensor of some sort I could clean?
