I hope someone can help with this issue. I'm first owner, bought the 2017 Ruckus from a dealer August 2017. My battery is not holding a charge over night or after a ride. Sometimes for the first start of the day, it will start by electric, but mostly by kick start. Sometimes after riding it to work, it may get one electric start out of it when I'm about to head home.
I've had to kick start it every morning for the past two weeks, but yesterday was the first time it wouldn't electric start after having the ruckus on a maintainer battery charger through the night. I bought a CDI from theruckshop.com and used their installion video. I didn't start having battery issues until 2 months after install, can it still be the issue? Can leaving the key in the ignition drain the battery? I'm checking this theory now and just removing the key now. Any help is appreciated!
