I have a 2007 ruck with a get. I cannot get this thing past 27 mph. It has intake, exhaust, cdi, variator, 5.5 gram weights, and big jets. I have the valve lash spot on, brand new 94 octane fuel in the tank, fresh oil change to the appropriate level, and tire pressure is good. Only thing that raises a huge flag to me is 40 psi on a compression test. What else am I missing? Why can I only go 27 mph? Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

I drew on the variator with sharpie to check that and the belt is going almost all the way out.

You need to do a leak down to isolate the cause of the low compression. maybe a valve or rings, but 40 psi is WAY LOW for a GET engine

Thanks I have a leak down tester wasn't sure if it would work on a small engine.
