Hi all. Noob o this forum, thanks for having me. My crankshaft seal is leaking....can this be popped from the outside and replaced using a seal puller or does the engine need to be split? Service manual only shows reassembly w/the engine split but not sure if it can't be pulled from the outside. Thank you!

The one facing the variator can be done with the engine still together, and it is fairly easy, the one facing the radiator is a lot more involved.

Radiator side is easy once you pull the radiator, flywheel & stater. It's like 4 bolts & cove comes off, pop out the seal, bing bang boom done. 40min.
