Hi all,
I'm working on a 1989 Yamaha Razz (Riva) for a friend. I got it running last night, however, the rough was incredibly sporatic, and at times it would rev the engine to 4,000 or so RPM's, and then back down to where it wouldn't even start for another 5 minutes or so. I noticed that as soon as I put in the choke, the engine shut off. I took off the manifold yesterday also, and the gasket crumbled in my hands. Could this be the issue?
Thanks,
Sam

Thanks, Sam "Possibly"......Air Leaks, Vacuum Leaks, etc. can cause these issues very easily....regardless the Gasket has to be fixed.... ;D
