I am doing some research before purchasing a Honda Ruckus. More than likely I'll buy a new one if I can find a dealership close enough to where I live. What I would like to know is how many miles can a Honda Ruckus reach on the odometer (50,000, 100,000, 150,000, etc.)? This information will help me decide if I should buy one of these. Will it last long or die within a few miles?

They do last a long time, and the wear parts (v-belt and variator rollers) are fairly cheap, get a later model ("06 and newer) as they have a better pcv system and do not have the crank bearing problem old ones used to have ;D Some one went around the US with one with the only problem being flat tires, more than 25000 miles

The odometer on my Ruckus hit 50,000 yesterday. Usual maintenance stuff - new drive belt every 3 years, 2 oil changes per riding season, and I think I replaced the spark plug 3 times in 13 seasons. New rear tire because the original was getting bald and after 10 years I figured I should get a new battery.
Not too shabby!
