The positive battery connection is under that plastic cap, it is held on just like the negative one. Take off the plastic covering on the positive battery connection and tighten it if it is loose. That may be why it will not start. If it was loose charge the battery, because it will not run if the battery is not connected good or dead. If you do not shut it off with the key, the battery will drain because of the ignition. Please read the threads on maintence and the other ones too. You will learn a lot. Thanks!

Thank you. I was thinking about it at work and figured it out. Good to have your prompt help. All solved. The scooter tarts fine and I am the proud owner of a charger due to trying a few other things Saturday. Keeping the charger for later. I will read up. thank you and keep the rubber side down. C7
