This last winter (thank God is spring already) was awful. Aging is awful, last January i was having constant stomach aches and upset stomach, so much so that my wife forced me to go to the doctor, then my winter went downhill, they send me to have some test done, and took a bunch of blood for testing (i think that doctor is some sort of a vampire), and they said i had a liver infection, a kidney stone and an ulcer (if i were a car i would have say the owner to junk it and get a new one)
Sorry for the interruption, i had to go with the wife to buy groceries
So any way i had to go an buy some extremely expensive medicines, those antibiotics for the liver are HUGE and i had two different kinds, plus some medication for the ulcer, some for the kidney stone, plus my blood pressure was super high, so more pills, i was taking more pills than a junkie, then i went to Daytona for the 24 hour race, during the night i started to shake while i was in the stands watching the cars, i thought, maybe it is too cold for what i was wearing (it was not) i got into the tent and put all my blanket over me and still was shaking for a good 10 minutes, finally i fall sleep, and that was it, but when i got back to Miami thinking nothing of it, i got a severe pain in the back, and it was the kidney stone acting up, it got so bad my family called 911 and the paramedics came to the house, and with them all the neighbors to find out what was going on. It was surreal, like a scene out of a movie, after a visit to the hospital and an injection later, i was like this with no pain anymore. More visits to the doctor, seeing specialist and ct scans, losing money left and right, losing work hours, neglecting my business. And i still have the kidney stone in my left kidney, i know because i had another episode of back pain, my liver is doing great, thank you; and my ulcer seems OK. next Thursday they will zap (whatever that means) my kidney stone. but meanwhile i had to go anywhere with this cup with an strainer in the bottom, "in case the stone decide to came out by itself" (and i need to collect it for analysis) which is embarrassing to say the least.
Going to so many different doctors have prove to be a challenging experience, the give you an appointment at a certain time, so you try to show in time, sign in, pay the co-payment, wait patiently for 2 hours, get check by an assistant, wait 15 more minutes and finally meet a doctor, who looks at some charts, order some more tests, write a prescription and ask you to come back in another two weeks and then repeat the process all over again c
