I think after doing Timbers excellent how to , The reason my 03 with 1800 miles is so doggy is because the valves were too tight. My intake gap was only .05 mm, and the exhaust was only.13. I will report back if I can find the right shims at the dealer on whether this helped the performance/top end at all.

my valve gap were too tight on my 03 a while ago, the engine were only bogging when warm(cause the parts expand), I ajusted them and now it work well. also, I did not ajusted thems with slimmers shims, I used the old ones that I sanded till I got the right gap, but I don't suggest you to do it that way, its way simpler to just use the rights shims
