I think is over kill, is like buying a Rolls Royce if you want to have a taxi, sure it has the best resell value of all the cars and sure is nice but a lot of other cars will work just as well and be a lot cheaper and make way more business sense, but some people want the best, so that is the best (in my opinion)

All of the ester oils I looked at were rated SL or lower with SM being the new standard. Though I'm not one to talk, my royal purple is SL.

I'm a big motul fan (8100 0W40 E-Tech am awesome), but due to a lack of planning ahead, the ruckus now runs Mobil 1 5W30, chosen for it's synthetic nature and API SM + Energy Conserving nature. I'll probably try some Motul 300V 5W40 this spring if I can find some., it's ester based too
