Thought I would post a picture of my ride and mods... to date. I have a gas tank cover coming, which will be good, to get the wiring covered. It's a 2008 with 225 miles. Runs great! Very happy with the purchase. Made the foot rest from stainless steel tubing and made the frame blocks from 2 inch square aluminum tubing... any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanx - Paul

Your pics make me realize that using the frame block would allow for a much larger gas tank. Yet another reason for me to look into them.

Firegut & chanito - Thanx for looking. The blocks really let me stretch my legs and be comfortable on the scooter for the first time since I've owned it. I do not feel crunched up any more + it handles much better on the road. As far as making the footrest - it was really not too hard to make,,. just a little time consuming making sure it fit and felt good. I used some 1 inch stainless steel tubing. I was able to roll the small arch of the steel on my roller. More or less cut the uprights to a height that felt good for my size shoe (11-1/2) and tig welded the uprights to the arched floor bar. I should mention that I have availability to the right tools, as I am a metal sculptor by trade. So over the years I have acquired a number of tools and felt that I could fabricate some of these items as opposed to buying them. So far, has worked out well for the blocks and the footrest. If you would like to see some of my work, here is the web link: www.absolutearts.com/metalforms/ I appreciate your compliments and feed-back... Many Thanx - Paul

Chris - I can always get above 45mph. It's nice to be able to keep up with traffic, but there is always someone who thinks they need to go around you and then cut in back in front of you with no room to spare... it's a strange world we live in... wish I was on an island that needed a sculptor. Here is my web link if you would like to see my work: www.absolutearts.com/metalforms/If you know of someone needing help, let me know - many thanx! Take care - Paul

Seriously, if you need to speed up so fast to pass me that you need to slam on the breaks after you get back in our lane, you didn't need to pass me.
