Your Ruckus looks like a Chopper in that last pic! You guys have really cool licence plates compared to ours. I need to buy my 2006 Ruckus before March 27th because after that date a new licencing catagory comes into effect for 'limited speed motorycles' and so if I register it after the 27th I'll get a bright green licence plate....ugh!
I'm still getting used to how eye catching that blue is! I think most people will be able to guess you have after market forks on there.

The VET vanity plate was at no extra cost with proof of service in Ohio. And it the same plate as full blown motorcycle. If the title says MC (motorcycle) then in Ohio that is how it is licenses. One thing about the Ruckus, from the front or rear, it is hard to tell it ain't a full size bike on the road. Cage drivers don't know what the heck it is!

This was going to be my "stealth" Ruck, that is till I got the blue shocks. I asked for Silver and gave a second choice of Blue. Actually with all the Black it really sets the whole bike off. I'm liking it.

Timber...you can get the fork legs in disc or drum versions from the ScootRSport guy I posted about in the classifieds section. Ditto with the rims he's got.

The OEM Dio stuff is a lot more expensive and doesn't come in drum brake versions like the imitation stuff does. The ScootRsport guy sells 3 different kinds of fake Dio's and they all come in disc or drum and they are about 120-140$. The rims are about 150$ for a set.

Thats what i did. I got it at Walmart for about $7. I mounted it on my scooter, they look good but they are chrome plated. They feel sorta slippery on my feet. Any suggestions would be appreciated. rabbitman79@yahoo.com Try sandblasting them to bare metal. Paint it with some good quality paint and add some sand of anti-slip compound in the paint, first.

Really states appreciation for those who spent time in uniform.

The lastest pictures of my mods. Chopped and bobbed lights. Kickstand, netting, lights, pegs, bobbed fender, heavy duty rear shock. Front shocks, TotalRuckus.com sticker, signals bobbed and moved, horn moved inside the cover. Mirrors, GPS, windsheild, Battery box painted Satin Black Fusion. Bobbed front rack. The Ruck fits crossways in that van behind the front seats. TotalRuckus.com sticker on helmet. And the end!

I really like what you've done with the signals! Is it a simple mod to do?

I think you just screw the cover off, remove the lightbulb and the reflector behind in (you need to cut off the plastic knobs) and then you can just unplug the wires or pull them through and then cut the flexy tube bit down or you can eliminate it all together and just use a hollow bolt to remount it. I'm gonna be doing this to my front signals in the next week or 2 so I'll have pics and more details soon.
