Notice that I had to draw 1/2 the rear wheel back in because the Yosh is angled up higher than the stocker. I didn't have a picture of the center nut so I omitted it. Don't try that on your real scooter. Oh, if you do install a Yosh like this on a 2006 like I'm going to do (the yosh is ordered and the 06 will be in February) you'll need to relocate that new funky PCV box cuz it hits the pipe when the suspension compresses. Just ask Sanjuro who has a nice gouge in his.
Oh, I'm also pretty close to closing a deal on a Veypor VR2 computer unit which does everything (speedometer, tach, g-meter, drag co-efficent, gear ratios, dyno (hp & torque), graphs everything, plus you can time all your runs (ie 0-10mph, 0-20mph, 1/4mile etc all in one run) and save them. That'll be great to have because I can post real qauntitive performance results with every mod I add which will be all of them.

I think I did one heck of a job with the lowered seat photoshop job. If I posted the full size files you can zoom way in and barely tell it's been touched. The rear wheel is a bit of a different story though. It took me forever to draw that rim back in. Anyways, yeah the third one does look nice. With the extension kit and a real cut on the fender I think it'd be perfect.
Supposedly you can move the PCV thing pretty much anywhere cuz you've just got a hose coming from the cam chain tensioner and then another one back to the airbox I believe plus a few wires. The only restriction really is the length of the wires cuz they emerge with the rear brake wires so you'd need to extend them or tear them out of the bundle if you want to move it far. Sanjuro just removed the cool metal case I think and used a bracket to mount it beside the coolant reseviour.

Yes we do, she smokes me of the line and all the way to 30, then i slowly creep forward and past her as i have more top speed, but i need a long strech of road to pass her, and i ride so much is the first time i have to refill after a week of riding, but she is super happy with the stock performance, i might need to do a windshield for her Metro but thas about it ;D

Dandy Dan-
Wow great chop. The white paint under the floor board is nice. Seeing a modified white Ruckus might make me condsider buying a new one.
I am curious to see what a chopped seat would do to ride comfort.

In case you don't know, you can buy the lowered seats like that from the BSS but they come primed in black and not painted which is ok for a black ruckus but for a white one you'd really need to get it painted. I also really like the paint under the floorboard...I think it brings the 2 halves together nicely but in the real world you wouldn't see it that much.
About comfort, from what I've heard the lowered seat makes tucking a lot more comfortably cuz you don't have to bend over as much to get just as low. However, it does cramp you legs a bit more but if you have side pegs then it's all good. I'm not sure what I'm going to do cuz I already have the lowered kickstand which mounts where the left peg goes which means I'll need to get creative to mount my pegs.
The thing I love about the lowered seat is that it makes it look more like you're riding IN the bike instead of ON it. If you look at the stock pic you'll see the seat is almost as high as the top of the battery box. I think Ruckus's look better sitting there parked then they do when you're riding them cuz the proportions get a little weird when a huge butt puts the scooter into perspective and dwarfs it.

Here's a peak at the tasty new 2006 speedometer: Too bad I'm planning to replace mine with a Veypor. Maybe I'll have one for sale in a few weeks for those of you who are going faster than 40mph or if you want to cheat and get a new speedo so you can sell you bike as a low milage machine.

At least a couple MPH

yeah people are reported their top speeds in the 40-43 range and more impressively 0-30mph times in the 8 sec range stock vs 12-15.
Chanito, my 2006 speedo will be the Canadian model so the km/hr will be the big numbers with small MPH numbers beneath it. Also, it'll likely be March before I get mine (gotta get my income tax refund).

Cool stuff...I never thought about painting thing black under the floorboard. I still think I like white better but the black does look better than the aluminum for sure. The awkward thing about painting things under the floorboard is that the aluminum continues around behind the front wheel and it's really shaped weird there so it would be harder to paint plus it might get scratched up more from rocks, sand etc flying off the wheel.....especially if it was painted white.
