good find, I wonder where and how we can get these. Nicad had some of these polini stickers, maybe he knows where to get this sort of stuff.

There doesnt seem to be a distributer in the U.S. but in Canada there is LCR COMPETITION INC. ORMSTOWN, QUEBEC and SMALL TIME RACERS, LTD M2K159 TORONTO, ONTARIO. But one aftermarket variator is probably not much different than the next and its pretty questionable an aftermarket pipe makes much difference other than sound on a 4-stroke scooter. I'm probably gonna get lots of flack on this but maybe it'll get some discussions going on this site again. I'm still testing my new muffler but theres no difference on flat ground.

You guys keep forgeting that the european zoomer is FUEL INJECTED, so if they did their homework and remap the fuel injection map, and advance timing, is very credible that they bump the speed and power a lot, as far as i know they have a closed loop fuel injection system, that means they have a oxigen sensor to keep the mixture in check. By the way to take advadtage of your exhaust, you need a softer diapharm spring and slighty smaller main jet.

75km/hr stills seems like a pretty optimistic top speed unless you had a really tall top gear which wouldn't jive with their claims of better off the line and midrange performance too. Abe isn't doing too much better than that and he's got a tricked out cam and his is ported/polished (although not fuel injected)

75 km/hr wich is about 46 mph is not that far fetched, they talk about a system (variator, muffler and cdi) that is what make it belivable, Abe super ruckus is running at 50, i modified my variator, shim the needle and open up the stock air filter cover, and i run at 42 mph at 7200rpm, i just do not have enough power to run any higher, but 46 at 8000 seems fair

I guess it's possible. I'm just worried that it would be geared so tall that it would be useless around town. Does a CDI have a bigger effect on a fuel injected engine than on a engine with a carb?

I'm from Italy and I will get the parts ASAP, then I'll mount them on my Zoomer and try to fly!
The parts will be available from March, so I think to write you something about in 3-4 weeks.

I called to order the parts, I'm waiting to have the pieces, then I'll mount them and see the miracle come true (I hope...)

Don't forget the Euro version has 4 valves. We are trying to get a 4 valve head to play with.
We sent an exhaust and variator to the UK and the customers Ruckus went from 25mph to 40mph. They are also running those MuddGobber tires so I'm not sure if the 40 is off the speedo or GPS. It seems that the variator is the biggest restriction on the Euro Ruckus. The 4 valve motor has lots of promise.

Is the only difference between our motor and the 4 valve version the head? If so you should get some, throw the cam in there and port/polish that and sell it. (not sure if there's any problems with this cuz I don't really know what I'm talking about).

Keep me posted on the 4 valve head. I would love to have one. Those motors are also fuel injected, no?

Good point on the fuel injection. Can we run the 4 valve head without having to switch over to fuel injection? I'd like to keep the carb system cuz it's easier to work on and I'm finally getting a lot of it figured out. I think it might be do-able if we had a bigger carb. Perhaps the 20mm abe sells would work nice. Imagine getting a new head in the mail containing a hopped up cam, ported/polished, 4 valves and a new 20mm carb bolted on. If all we needed to do was bolt on this new head the sales would fly. If Abe could do this for about 500$ I'd take 3!

Does anyone have specs on how fast that 4 valve motor goes? Any specs on its performance would be nice.

The Euro is FI and the Japanese is a carb motor. The power is up 1/2hp over the 2v.
FI would be nice. No more jetting issues. . Laptop
