It would be nice of someone would/could make some of these parts. I'm no metal fabricator or welder but I would if I was. I'd make all kinds of "edit profanity"; racing foot bars, lowered seat frames, exhaust pipes, crosschecked aluminum floors...the list goes on.

What sort of feedback were you waiting on for your air filter? Did you offer to produce the kits for us? I guess I should just read the post before asking. I really want a racing frame brace and that seems easy as hell to make. I have a friend that can do everything with metal and I've often thought of just making a brace myself. Does anyone have a brace they'd like to send me so I can copy it?

on the subject of pipes that would work well for the ruckus, I was considering somthing like an FMF pipe off a Honda XR50.. I think it would be more correct for the ruckus motor than a pipe built for a 125... however they arent cheap.. and I dont own a ruckus to test pipes on.. I ran a BBR and a stock XR50 pipe back in the day. You need to baffle them so it runs and sounds good. They will work. You know the stock exhaust is not that bad. Cut one open. You need to keep telling yourself it's a 50. I know plenty of people with XR50s that switch back to the stock exhaust because they make more power. If you don't get in the engine and make changes the pipe will only make it louder.

Like I said, my larger muffler/pipe system actually made my scooter slower.

Where'd you come up with that SuperJ? Hopefully those are pics of my ruckus that you just finished modifying and now are trying to decide between the two pieces.
The one on the far left looks like the new 'drag pipe' that the Battlescooterstore.com has. Is the drag pipe called that cuz it's really performance oriented or because it looks like a drag pipe?

Also regarding the search for an aftermarket 7/8ths pipe. Why don't you just hacksaw the stock muffler off and weld/clamp the new one on. It seems like it would work good other than they high level of commitment.

It looks like a HotLap brand. It's hard to know. In Japan there are tons of little companies that make exhausts. Not all a Japan legal and so far we are having a hard time dealing with them. We actually just picked up a couple more brands because Battlescooter is becoming a "name". Thanks guys ;D
Dan- It's called a drag pipe because of the style. Any of the legal pipes will make the same power, the crazy open styles will make less.

Out of those two the first one is what i had in mind, although i would have put the resonator after completing the loop, that design is the only one i would think makes any power improvement in a stock ruckus, some heat shield would have to be make to protect your legs.
