Im going to be needing to find a new fuel pump for my ruckus, and i was wondering if anybody had come across a pump that will fit in without too many modifications

What is the problem with using OEM Honda? Ron Ayers has decent prices on stock Honda parts.

I wanted to know if i could go to the auto parts store and rig one up while i waited on new parts. I am just using a seprate gas tank directly on the carb. Also i found it runs better this way, i think the ecm cuts off fuel flow at higher rpm's

The stock pump uses a spark pulse from the ignition. It's not direct but I don't believe the fuel is cut at higher RPM. You could wire the stock pump on the coil to find out.
