That looks pretty kick "edit profanity". They need more of a reclining seat though like a recumbent bike. They need a bigger wheel I guess. Where would you put the plate?

I don't see how you would stop. If you hit the brakes to hard round and round you would go! I also like the scootcar at this site.

The principle of it's propulsion is that all the weight of the motor/transmission and the rider is at the bottom and causes it to go: ergo the opposite causes it to stop with you still seated where gravity keeps you, at the bottom. I wish they were not in FL I would love to try and ride one of them. This site had a neet mini car and a kool enclosed scooter. Mercedes is producing an enclosed scooter like it in Europe. (If while riding the wheel you put it up against a wall you could possibly travel up the rim until you got unseated )

I cked out the "wheel" site in FL. The wheel is $5000 and freight, which is a little much for an unknown toy. I am going to call them and find out if it is street legal and if it's made in China (I'm sure). It has a rear view mirror Those could be signal or head lights under the handlebars. Mondaytuesday we'll know.

It would be really cool if you could ride that on the road but I have a hard time thinking any DMV will license that. As I posed before where would the plate go . Still looks like alot of fun though. I definitely would recommend a good set of boots to ride that for panic breaking !1

I see what looks like a tail light peeking at the back, maybe it could have a bracket for a plate, but it would need headlight(s) high and low beam, turn signals and brake lts (my wife looked at it and chimed in that it was ridiculous and then added it to a list of my three wheeled cars and V8 powered trike)

A friend of mine used to have a Messerstchmitt (or however you write it) and we had a lot of fun, actually one of this days i hope i will buy one replica of it

I'd love to own one too but I doubt I ever will. Too much of a collectable, I probably won't be able to justify affording one. But they are very cool!

I've posted this before but a long time ago. TriHawk: It was a joint project between Citroen and Maserati. There weren't that many built and very few surviving. I had it built to my specs in 1984 and sold it in 2000 to one of the design team (actually the guy who invented Linux)in Chicago. It was a fun car and it really was nimble. I had the three wheeled german fuel tank with the airplane canopy (Messerschmidt) and it was junk, lousy handling no power actually it was dangerous. Had a BMW powered Isetta and it was a slug but it got lots of neat comments. We used to lift it up and park it on the sidewalk. Always liked weird machines. I bid on a Honda Gyro last week and lost but the guy emailed me and he has another one The problem with being able to afford all this "stuff"is to know when to stop. I am going to look at a yellow Viper next week Somebody stop me

humm, TriHawk, cool I've never seen one. Looks like a barrel of monkeys! lots a fun! I've always loved the looks of the Messerschmitt(I get my spelling from the name of the WW2 aircraft co. that built the cars after the war, maybe they changed the spelling of their name after the war I don't know) It's too bad they were not that great a vehicle in real use, though I still think it would be a fun toy for around town on weekends and old car rallies! Just maybe not something to rely on. I know what you mean though ted, so many cool toys out there, it's hard to choose!

8-)We had a lot of fun in that Messerschmitt, it is design for only two people but we used to ride three going to the soccer games, it was great for parking as we could move it into a parking slot, because it was super light, so many good memories that for a while i was going to get a replica, check this web site www.tri-techautocraft.co.uk

Chanito, that is so cool, I never new you could build them as kits now! Gee I wonder what sorta hoops you'd have to jump through to get that licensed Mighty expensive though, but then again maybe not in comparison to buying an original. Come on lotto 6/49!!

You guys had the right spelling. There are fantastic cars, trikes and kits in the UK,Europe and Asia and our wonderful DOT will not let them be imported. In the 60's the Reliant Car co of England wade really safe little 3 wheeled economic 2 pass cars. They just quit production last year. In the 60's they made a sexy little 3 wheeler called the Bond Bug, and I tried like hell to get one into the country and never made it. Here is a great link for trikes. www.3wheelers.com/azlist1.html
