...like to say hello, I've been reading through the forum for a bit now getting to know as much as I can about the ruckus before I purchase one. Seems to be a real comraderie amongst you all, quite cool. I first saw the ruckus on TV and was bitten by the bug instantly a few months back...finally drove to a dealer with one in stock to see one in person last week. Looks as though I'm going to buy a Red 2003...cheaper than the 2005...by some $400. I don't dig the cammo too much anyway. The utilitarian design, I really can't believe they haven't caught on more outside of Japan...a good thing in ways...but it would be nice to see a greater availability of aftermarket parts. kudos to all at battlescooter. I'm looking forward to contibuting to the site.... later, matt ohh yeah beer is my favorite food

Welcome I was told by one of my employees that they ( him and his son) saw something on the ruckus over the winter on tv as well. I think they must have seen Abe. They said it was all tricked out doin wheelies and burning out . My employee now wants one but can't convince his wife to let him buy it .

hey Chanito-- yeah, there's a huge group of girls with metro's, vespa's etc--but i'm the only one with the big ruckus. i've yet to join any of the scooter groups--not a big groupie type, but i will go on a run in June. something called the mad dash or something here in San Fran.

hey Chanito--whose Spoonkiller and what part of the bay area does he live. i'd love to join another ruckus lover on a ride! Hey Batgirl, I live in Concord and work downtown SF a block from the Ferry building. I think Abe, the owner of Battlescooter, also lives somewhere in the Bay Area and there are several other East Bay Metropolitan owners that frequent Urbanscootin. The weather's clearing up nicely we'll have to do a meet.
