I want to put a different air cleaner on my two Rucki because I often ride them at the beach or on mellow logging roads. I have read too much about the leaky factory set-up; and all the dirt found in the motors - I cannot stand the potential - soo I want to put on an air filter that I can maintain. HERE IS THE CATCH. right now - I do not want to change the jetting, or exhaust - I want to keep her mostly stock for now, so ... Can I put on a different system - say from the BattleScooter store and not rejet?? HELP

I'm afraid not. You can use the mower filters though. They are cheap to replace. You can keep the dirt out by using grease on the seals of the stock airbox and filter. The gauze filters aren't real good for the dirt because the oil attracts dirt. Every open type filter, even foam, requires jetting.
If you go to foam they are better for the dirt than stock ;D

Then foam it is - if I go that way. Thanks Abe, and thanks for the grease tip - will do that to both of them this weekend! ;D

Abe, would MINERAL OIL on neoprene gaskets and "O" rings be better? I have used it on some before; and I have also used, Marvel Mystery Oil on them with no visible negative effects.

Well, I was, bored... wait, my post yesterday was a reply to a post made two days before. Now, it's common knowledge I haven't been coming here in the week, so on Saturdays, I play catchup. So, nyah!
