I weight about 130 and want to put a new variator and roller weights on my stock 2013 ruckus, what are the best options for my ruckus? I am just trying to gain better acceleration on slight hills seeing as I can hit about 42 on flats right now.

I am about 120 pounds and I just recently installed a polini variator kit in my 2007 and it comes with 5.9 gram and 6.1 gram rollers. The polini variator kit is the way to go! Only downside to the polini kit is the rollers. Polini rollers are made of a material that wares out fairly fast. There are other roller that you can get. Higher weight of the rollers the more acceleration the bike will have. Lower the weights the higher top speed. My bike would only top out at 49 with stock variator and weights. I changed the variator to the polini kit and put the stock weights in while i wait for my new higher quality ordered ones to come in. Not only do I have higher acceleration but even top speed of 42. That's with higher weight rollers. For over all top speed and acceleration for your weight would be around 6.2-7 gram. 7 gram wont get you the fastest top speed but you will notice some as long as a faster acceleration. For top speed 5.9-6.2 gram weights are the way to go.
