I am currently looking at a 2012 used Honda NPS50 Ruckus with less than 200 miles on it. What do you think is a reasonable price to pay for it with such low mileage? Evidently it was used for a very short period of time for commuting back and forth to work, most likely at top speed, ( I was told it was ridden 45 mph.) Round trip would have been approximately 40 miles. Reason for selling, they decided to get a car instead. So they had only owned it since September ! Hopefully no damage has been done to it running that distance and that speed for such a prolonged period of time, ( how much can a 50cc engine take anyway ?) i thought they were only built for short commutes and varied speeds. I know nothing about scooters, this is a first for me. Any feedback would be appreciated. They are asking under 2k for it. Not sure if this person had purchased it new from a dealer or bought it used.

Here in Cali, Rucks are very popular and they are selling like hot cakes new and used. Under 2,000 for a 2012 is a decent deal. This guy, who lives down the street from me, told me that he paid $3,000 out the door for a brand new 2012. I bought mine this past September off Craiglist. 2009 with 576 miles, asking for $1,500. I was able to negotiate down to $1,350.
And stay off the highway!
