just bought an '07 Ruckus with only 50 original miles on it, everything is stock, went ahead and bought Yoshimura TRC SS/Carbon fiber exhaust system. Does anyone know of the extra performance that should be expected and also the recommended jetting for the new exhaust, ive dont some research online, but a total novice at all of this, but totally stoked!

For performance, don't expect too much. It'll sound faster but it won't be much faster if any. I'm not sure of the specifics for this exhaust, but generally for getting you'll want to get it installed and then consider how it's running and do a plug chop to see if your air/fuel ratio is okay or not. I don't think I rejetted when I tossed on a Yosh a few years ago, but it wasn't the TRC.

You'll most likey need to rejet. I'm not sure what sizes. Trial and error. It's def funner with an exhaust! Have fun!

Got the yoshimura exhaust installed the other day. Had the carb re-jetted with size 80 jet. This thing is loud, it's got big bike noise, in a good way. No real noticible changes on the front end, but definitely added a few mph's on the back end, before the mod, was topping out at about 40, now I'm at about 43-45 depending on the conditions. On the way back from the shop on a downhill, my gf was driving behing me going 48 and I was still truckin, ideal situation I guess, but glad I did the mod, but not cheap by any means.

I got maybe 1-2 mph on the back end, bike is still not broken in, maybe lost a little on the front, haven't yet installed the pollini variator i bought, as far as an exhaust goes, it's more for sound and looks than anything, it's basically an expensive accessory, but worth my money, maybe not yours...

I ran the suggested 80 jet and it ran like crap, so I switched it back to stock. I couldn't figure out how to mess with the air/fuel mixture and I was planning on getting the pc20 carb anyways so I just switched it back.
