We have had our BR for about a month and ride, ride ride we go. We are looking for a back rest as both of us are riding at the same time. Anyone have any ideas? And what about a windshield?? We have found them for the small Ruckus but not the BR. Any help out there? sbronga@cfl.rr.com Battlescooterstore.com or something like that...for starters..

Hi Folks! I've only been riding for a year but have had a lot of 'variety' for a newb- whole family rides, so I get to cheat and ride everyone else's, too! Couple that with scooter/motorcycle syndrome (I seem to have to have one of each), and we're bike happy and dirt poor! What's the REAL scoot on the Big Ruckus? How does it handle- cornering, up and down hills, rough road surfaces, WIND- especially wind? Know where I can pick one up for probably $4500, $4600- scoots don't sell well here...that's new and OTD- Can anyone compare it to a Reflex? Silverwing? Vino 125? Thanks in advance! bluejeanblues the BR handles great, performs great on the sand ( with stock tires), and as many have said has no problem with wind. Acceration is good. Don't know about hills cause im in FL and is based off of the Reflex. As far as the Silverwing, My Stepmom owns one and she loves it. It is about 500 lbs and is heavy to move around the yard. The only problem I had with it is wind noise from the windsheild. It takes off like a rocket as has no problem with power. goes 100+ and has a huge trunk with interior light. I have no idea about the Vino 125 Hope it helps...

I love my BR but it has it's limitations. I need more wind protection as the bugs here in the summer are engine propelled. I want more power as I ride on some roads where the BR is at it's limit and has no reserve of power when a big wind is in your face or you want to pass at 50mph plus. If I sell the BR I will most probably get a Silverwing. I did a lot or research on the Burgman(s) and they have too many transmission problems. I am spoiled as I had the first Helix and rode it for 18 yrs with no problems. (It was wanting for power when at '8000 in NM) but at sea level it was much faster than the BR in acceleration and top speed. (better aerodynamics)
