Got an '07 Ruckus & an 07 Yamaha C3 a little over a week ago, for the wife & I (the Ruck is mine), and I finally got some pics to share! His & Hers Some sunglasses is all she carries at the moment! The fuel gauge is nice to have, but the turn signals leave something to be desired. Really sensitive to touch, when turning it off, you'll wind up turning on the OTHER turn signal half the time. They also make no audible sound. But this is probably my favorite feature of them all: a locking cover to the ignition! Which is opened by a special key on your......key!

Good thread, Tommy. I've been curious about the C3. Maybe some perfomance comparos... Either way, keep us posted on them both, and

To tell you the truth, the C3 is ridiculously quicker off the line than my Ruckus, after riding both - I'm still loviin' my Ruckus. Since I've put just over 100 miles on the LR in just a week, I guess my opinions will forever be biased. LOL But the bad news is I believe it has some sort of restrictor, or governor built in. With me at 5'10" & 220lbs, it gets right up to 35mph with no probs whatsoever, and even hits 40mph soon after barring any steep greades. But thats about it, 40 mph (maybe 41 if lucky) and I feel something like similar to feeling a *tug* from behind, if you will. Even on the same steep downhill section of the same road that I got up to 45mph with my stock Ruckus, I could only muster 41mph, but I could definitely tell something was restricting it. Who knows what this thing unrestricted could do? Cheers!

I believe the Ruckus in Japan has a similar key cover as the C3...cool gadget.
The Ruckus really makes the C3 look tall but perhaps that would be a good thing because you might feel like you're sitting 'in' the C3 whereas the Ruckus gives a vibe that you're sitting 'on' it.
I was actually expecting the C3's storage to be bigger than that...anyways, thanks a lot for the pics. Good info...I wonder if your Ruckus is abnormally slow or the C3 just hauls.

Maybe it's actually aerodynamic. Doesn't the front of the thing look like about the right height for a Ruckus with a Chanito windshield? It might just be the angle.

I didn't quite catch the best angle to show the storage compartment's capacity - but it will hold ALOT. Today, she carried her over-filled medium sized purse (LOL), a gallon-sized tub w/ lid of mixed fruit, a folded-up jacket she wore on the way in this morning, two books, make-up bag (for the post-ride application, of course LOL) and a folder file. I thought when went to unlock it, the contents would spring forth from the pressure! LOL
Cheers!

;D Nice looking scoots, congrats and thanks for the comparo, i think the advantage is on the gearing as the C3 is quicker but the ruckus is faster

I have that locking thing on the keyhole it is cool (Except every one here has one too and I wonder if they are interchangeable), I also have some bungei pegs under the seat and use a spider web net thing instead of boxing off the bottom area (under the seat. The first mod i did was put red plastic (heavy card board stuff there with some cable ties) but I like the look much better open. I might buy a BWs this weekend, I just saw it yesterday on a web site here, (I am in Bangkok www.mocyc.com/store/detail.php?id=215187 I hate the wheel color but I will see it if it is still around, If I like it who knows?). Looks good (good price,12500 baht =about 400 US$s, I will offer less) but paydays not til friday. When I get my camera fixed I will post all my bikes (I have 3 now a Dio (for my girl) a yammi Popgal which is my project at the moment, and my Zoomobile. I just gotta stop spending money on bikes so I can use the camera again LOL.oh and BTW congrats ;D

I want 12 inch wheels and better suspension, sounds cool. My 2 stroke dio is faster off the line than the Zoomer.
