Anyone got this done yet? I've only got about 4 hours / week to work on my Ruckus (saturday mornings) cuz I'm out of town during the week. This week I modified my forks, rejetting my carb and made some variator tools but this mod is on my list for next weekend along with my Luimoto seat cover, front fender and cleaning my airfilter.

Agree with chanito...old trick we used in the 70's with race cars. Find it hard to believe that 49cc of "firebreathing" single is going to get any benefit that could acually be felt or measured....

I have always radiused the end of the ground electrode to match the center electrode, or cross referenced a dual electrode plug such as a JR9C, or a CR9EK. An NGK catalog can prove invaluable.

On company (Bosch?) makes a line of plugs called something like 'platinum 4' that have 4 electrodes...they probably don't make on that fits the Ruckus but if they did that would take up quite a bit more space in the combustion chamber which would cause a small increase in our compression ratio's.

Hey guys, I done this to NGk g-power of my Nissan altima sr20de, the low end torque is strong, gear could be changed faster. But it appeared to burn oil, blue smoke seen. So I rounded the sharp ground electrode and push it more to center so that the spark wouldnt be so at the tip which cause overheat point. May be this problem is only true for the small tip center electrode plug. Anyway i think manufacturer tend to invest production that suite general public interest, means that spark plug that suits all car is a better plug, as compare to some plug which need careful selection for certain tuning definitely have potential to come out with better result.
